Course Maps

Follow your map and you won’t be late to your race.

Google maps may lead you to an entrance that will be blocked for the race - start early.

Race lengths: 10K (6.2 miles); 5K (3.1 miles); Family Fun Run (approximately 1 mile).

The terrain at the beautiful Mackenzie Park is lovely with gently rolling hills and much-welcomed shade from the canopies

of oak trees. You will be sure to enjoy walking or running through the park and waving at the Prairie dogs!

Directions & Parking

For directions to Mackenzie Park, do not follow Google Maps instructions. Please click the Printable Maps Button above for directions to the park and for parking information.

Plan on arriving early to find a great spot.  Then, follow the sidewalk downhill and turn left on Cesar E. Chavez Drive. Follow the signs to the Start Line.

Late Comers

If you arrive late to R2R and your race has already been released, we will ask you to participate in the next wave of participants being released - no one allowed on course after each race has been released.

Race Amenities

Registered runners receive a Running2Rescue short-sleeved t-shirt. Adults may also pick up a cool car decal to help spread the vision.

Awards

  • Male and Female: Top three finishers in 10K and 5K receive recognition with medals
  • First 10 finishers of the Family Fun Run receive a fun treat
  • Award finalists' names & race times will be posted on www.running2rescue.com
  • Chipped time results for all 5K & 10K participants can be retrieved from www.athleteguild.com

Race Timing

A chip timing system is utilized with bib tag activation provided by Athlete Guild. Gun and chip times will be recorded.

All awards are based on Gun Time. To obtain race results: print immediately at the kiosk located directly past the finish line

or visit athleteguild.com.

All races are subject to capacity limits and may close at any time. No refunds. No transfers without race director notification.

Contact us at info@running2rescue.com.

No Bib/Runner Number Switching: Do not run with someone else's bib (runner number)!

Switching bibs affects race results, and will cause problems for our timing results service, and may lead to your disqualification.
